Legal Fees & Out-of-Pocket Costs

Our firm tries to customize each fee agreement to fit the needs of the client. Fees for legal services can be charged and paid monthly based on an hourly amount. However, most of our clients are victims of accidents or unfair treatment by insurance companies and cannot afford monthly fees, in which case contingent fee agreements fit their needs better. Our contingent fee agreements specify that the fee charged will be a percentage of the money recovered for the client. If no money is recovered, there will be no fee charged for the legal services we provided.

Out-of-Pocket Costs are separate from fees. All costs and expenses incurred during the processing of a claim remain the obligation of the client, regardless of recovery. These costs may include such things as sums paid to court reporters, process servers, court clerks, expert witnesses, and other out-of-pocket expenses. In many cases, our firm advances these costs during the handling of the claim and they are repaid by the client at the end of the case. For more information concerning costs and fees, contact us.
