9th Circuit Court of Appeals
WHAT IS ERISA?

The Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (known as ERISA) is a federal law that controls most workers' rights to employment related insurance benefits, such as disability, life and health care. Our firm can help employees receive these benefits by federal court action.

Mr. Waugh is one of the few attorneys in  Arizona who  regularly represents workers  in disputes involving disability, life and health insurance benefits administered under ERISA, a federal law.  If you have an ERISA question, our firm can serve you best if you have all the documents that might be relevant to your matter available when you contact us. As an example, if an insurance plan or policy is involved, you'll need to have a copy of your policy, plan or employee handbook available. If you have received a claim denial letter, you'll need to have that correspondence. You can contact us for a free initial telephone consultation.
